During your consultation, we will perform an initial assessment of your skin and discuss your medical history to determine if MOXI is right for you.

About MOXI Laser Skin Rejuvenation

MOXI treats fine lines, textured skin, scarring, uneven skin, and pigment. It helps stimulate collagen, so it is a great option to “prejuvenate” your skin, and can be paired with BBL dynamic results.

What it is

MOXI delivers fractionated laser energy to create micro-coagulation zones which the body then repairs, replacing damaged cells with fresh new ones. MOXI is designed to provide tonal and textural improvements to your face with low downtime, resulting in skin renewal.

How it Works

Skin initially feels warm like a sunburn for about 1-2 hours post treatment. We provide you with a luxurious cooling mask post treatment that takes away the warmth almost instantly! Skin will appear pink and over a few days skin will feel rough as dead skin begins to fall off.

Renewed skin will be noticeable within a few weeks, with full results in 3 months. Some notice results much sooner!

  • Most patients desire to have numbing cream applied prior to the treatment to minimize sensations felt during the laser treatment. After a 15-30 minute numbing period, your treatment will begin. During your MOXI laser procedure, we will input the appropriate settings to address your specific needs. The MOXI handpeice will then be rolled across your skin, delivering laser energy. Patients can expect to experience a mild heating sensation. For most patients, the treatment is very tolerable and gentle on the skin.

    You can expect the treatment to last less than 30 minutes, even when multiple areas of the face and/or body are treated. Patients can safely return to daily activities as soon as their treatment is over. A mild sunburn feeling will be present for less than one hour after treatment.

    With consultation, numbing, and treatment combined, expect to be in the office for 60-90 minutes.

  • The cost of a MOXI laser treatment varies from patient to patient and depends on your treatment goals and the level of correction needed. We will customize your unique treatment and discuss the associated cost during your consultation.

  • Downtime varies for everyone but is most often 5-7 days. For best results, we strongly recommend that patients wait until their skin is fully healed (2 weeks) before using any of these treatments or practices:

    -Heavy physical or chemical exfoliation

    -Acne creams

    -Extremely hot or cold water

    -Shaving

    You may also want to hold off on heavy, sweat producing exercise for 48 hours post treatment as well.

  • Most commonly, the face, neck, and chest are treated with MOXI.

  • Anyone is a candidate. The best candidates are patients who have texturized skin, uneven pigment or are looking for preventative anti-aging measures. MOXI is the go-to treatment for improving melasma as well.

  • Yes. A deposit of $200 is required upon scheduling. This $200 will be used toward your treatment. Your deposit will be forfeited in the cases of late cancellation (less than 48 hours notice) or no-show of appointment.
